The purchased equipment mainly are MAZAK machining center from Japan, precision NC machine tools from Taiwan Daqiao, TL-55 automatic chrome plating production lines for thin wall cylinder liners, double-feed automatic honing machine from Dahe and the advanced special inspection instruments are equipped such as MA62012 precision liner roundness gauge from Japan, CA60H liner roundness gauge, Mahr M2 roughness gauge from Germany, HVS-1000 LCD micro Vickers hardness gauge, universal tension tester and Times TT260 coating thickness measuring gauge. The annual production capacity of 500,000 thin wall steel liners can be reached for the first stage of the project, which can be supplied for various kinds of engines using thin wall chrome plated liners. At present there are a series of models such as 4JB1, 4JA1, 4BD1, 6BG1, 4JH1, 6112ZQ, C240, C190.

The hardness of the chrome coating for thin wall chrome plated liners can reach over HV800. The chrome coating of sponge structure is specially processed into platform honing channel structure containing excellent oil retention, which enables the chrome plated liners to reach quality standards of EURO II and EURO III and the wear resistance reach over 300,000 kilometers. At the beginning of 2006 the liner passed the quality test by Shanghai Internal Combustion Research Center.
